Wéndèleine Thérèse Renard (born 20 July 1990) is a French professional footballer who plays as a central defender for Division 1 Féminine club Olympique Lyonnais, which she captains, and the France national team. A goal-scoring defender, Renard is one of the most decorated players in modern women's club football. She has won a record 14 French League titles and seven European Cups. In 2019, the New York Times described her as an "institution" at Lyon, the most successful club in European women's football.
