The Weekend News, later called as ABS-CBN Weekend News, was an English language weekend newscast and later the first Filipino language weekend newscast of the network aired every Saturday and Sunday aired and produced by ABS-CBN News and Current Affairs from July 1, 1995 to May 2, 2004.When the newscast first aired in July 1, 1995 as The Weekend News, it first used English as its primary language.
